Water is a strong presence in Camana Bay, reflecting the role the sea has played in Cayman’s history. One of the world’s most innovative water studios, Fluidity, was challenged to design original water displays to work in context with the Town’s public spaces. Each water feature enhances the sense of place, experience, meaning, and value to its locale.
The Crescent’s fountain, a dynamic focal point for Camana Bay’s Town Centre, provides hours of enjoyment for kids of all ages and anyone seeking to cool down from the heat of the Cayman sun. This fountain is an expression of beauty and boundless creativity. The mesmerising sprays are programmed for an interesting display and reach heights of 30 feet.
In Jasmine Court, interactive water jets playfully tease young children, producing smiles all around. In contrast, the calming lull of gently cascading water fills the air in the Gardenia, Canella and Cassia courtyards. And as dusk falls, the fountains illuminate for amazing effect.
Wave patterns are also found throughout Town on pavements, outdoor furniture, and other landscape features.
