Architecture

Exterior

The architecture of Camana Bay is an expression of both time and place. Each structure has its own identity, while fitting in harmoniously with the Town as a whole and in the greater context of the island beyond. The study of Caribbean architecture has been instructive in learning how buildings have successfully responded to the climate in the past. These lessons have been applied by focusing on the underlying principles, not merely on the stylistic or cosmetic qualities of buildings.

Interior

Interior design compliments the Caribbean setting, reinforcing a sense of identity and place. Natural materials such as stone, glass, wood and water form the basis of the design in the common area lobbies and meeting places, while the private residences exude warmth and comfort with an earthy colour palette. Ever-mindful of environmental considerations, environmentally-friendly materials and energy efficient appliances are used where possible.
