Camana Bay is the place to get fit this year. A variety of fitness and sports activities are available to the community year-round – free or at minimal cost!
True to Camana Bay’s ethos of embracing community activities, the Camana Bay Sports Complex is a world-class sporting facility supporting indoor and outdoor recreation. The facilities are used primarily by the Cayman International School (CIS) during regular school hours Monday to Friday, but are available for use by the wider community weekdays after school and all day on weekends. Located on the campus of the Cayman International School, the outdoor facilities include two tennis courts, two basketball courts (one set for junior competition), a 25-metre swimming pool (8 lanes) and one full size, professional grade football (soccer) pitch.
The Arts & Recreation Centre (The ARC)
The Camana Bay Sports Complex is also home to the newly built Arts & Recreation Centre (The ARC), a 20,000 sq. ft. multi-purpose indoor facility used for daily recreational activities and events. Built with Olympic-grade flooring, The ARC has a floor space that can be converted into a basketball court, two volleyball courts, or two badminton courts. It also has retractable bleacher seating for 400+ spectators, along with women’s and men’s lockers, showers and changing rooms.
The facilities are available for use by sports clubs and members of the local community outside of school hours.
Camana Bay Aquatic Club
The Camana Bay Aquatic Club (CBAC) is a competitive swim team for swimmers ages 5-18, offering its members top coaching instruction and an excellent club atmosphere. From novice to national level, CBAC swimmers compete both locally and internationally.
Located at the Camana Bay Sports Complex, the Club is built on the principles of T.E.A.M. (Together Everyone Achieves More). Providing its members with a positive environment, access to education and a support network to help everyone reach their goals, CBAC is a family, a team, a way of life – come be part of something great.
