Yallah, Camana Bay’s newest restaurant, offers something new to diners.
With a build-your-own bowl and pita bar with fresh toppings, bold sauces and grilled proteins, all grounded in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food traditions, Yallah is styled for a busy lunch or a relaxed dinner, without the wait.
“We were motivated by a desire to bring a fresh, healthy and modern take on Mediterranean cuisine to Camana Bay – the kind of fast-casual, build-your-own experience that’s well-loved in international markets around the world," said n . "We wanted to capture that lively, communal market feel: bold flavour, clean ingredients, quick service and a space that invites choice and customisation.”
In Arabic, “Yalla(h)” is a common expression that means “come on,” “let’s go” or “hurry up.”
“We chose ‘Yallah’ because it captures the spirit of our brand – high energy, quick service and an inviting environment. Our restaurant reflects this mindset; let’s go, let’s enjoy, let’s grab something bold and delicious,” Benoit said.
It is also a restaurant that doesn’t take itself too seriously, telling its customers in its key messaging: “Hummus is a meal. Don’t argue.”
Aligned to this is the Falafel Fan Club, which isn’t your average loyalty programme.
“This is the island’s sauciest social club,” Benoit said. “Sure, there’ll be rewards for loyal customers (details soon come), but it’s really about the vibe. Take one bite of a Yallah bowl or pita and boom – you’re in. No forms, no fuss. Just an instant induction into the hottest, hummus-loving club on the island.”
Benoit also highlighted that even though it offers quick service, the restaurant never compromises on quality or freshness.
“Although our emphasis is on fast-casual service and build-your-own meals, the décor and dine-in environment were designed to feel modern and slightly elevated compared to typical fast fare,” Benoit said. The aesthetic features bright colours and contemporary finishes – clean lines, an open layout and a quick-service setup that still feels comfortable enough to sit and enjoy.
“Being in Camana Bay, we wanted to reflect that urban-village atmosphere: bright, inviting and perfect for a quick lunch, a friendly evening meal or picking something up on the way home. The menu's signage, open-kitchen vibe and build-your-own bowls and pitas all contribute to that ‘crafted by casual’ experience,” Benoit says.
“Customer feedback has also been very positive, and the fresh and fast bold flavours position continues to resonate," he said.
Yallah is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week and is located on the corner of Market Street and Nexus Way. Customers can order via the website at yallah.ky and check social media channels for more information on perks, benefits and how to join the Falafel Fan Club.
