Where are you from? I was born and raised right here in Grand Cayman.

How long have you worked at Camana Bay? I’ve worked in Camana Bay for most of my career. I remember when the Dart offices moved into their first office space following the official completion of Camana Bay, before the current location on Nexus Way. I was an intern at the time through what is now called the Work-X programme.

How would you describe your day-to-day? The HR world brings a unique mix of matters, so it is rare that two days are the same. Typical day-to-day duties can include meeting with my managers to discuss their teams and people matters, progressing recruitment drives, advising on HR policies/procedures and dealing with any issues or questions that often pop up. There is also a lot of learning in my role – I’m always learning more about our business and my teams so that I can in turn provide the best possible support.

What do you enjoy about your job? I have always been a people person, so I really enjoy creating and cultivating relationships with people. We have a very diverse and talented group of employees under the Dart umbrella, and I get to play a part in their journey, which is really fulfilling.

You recently got engaged at Camana Bay! Valentine's Day is this month, so please tell us about that experience. I am still on cloud nine! My engagement was a total surprise and my fiancé pulled out all the stops to make this an unforgettable moment. Not only did he manage to surprise me, but also our close family and friends, who showed up to KARoo thinking they were attending my surprise birthday party. It was a beautiful night to start the next chapter in our lives.

What's something we don't know about you that we should? I am a proud dog mom to my fur babies, Willow and Meko. They enjoy being in Camana Bay just as much as their mom does!
