Mourant Consulting has launched in the Cayman Islands, offering regulatory expertise in helping financial services clients enhance their governance, risk and compliance culture and navigate the changing regulatory landscape.

Mourant Consulting will work in collaboration with the firm's regulatory legal practice.

"We’re proud to launch this new offering in the Cayman Islands," Mourant Consulting Managing Director Mike Jones said.

"The launch is a direct result of growing demand for our regulatory services and will further strengthen our client offering."

Amy Gurm has been appointed to head up the local Mourant Consulting offering. She previously served as director of Mourant Consulting in Jersey and has more than 15 years' experience as a risk and regulatory professional across financial services, public and other regulated business. She'll be joined by Yara Henry, who has been tapped associate director.

"Mourant Consulting in Jersey has been a huge success, and Amy has played an integral part in that, so we’re sure she’ll grow the business to be just as successful in the Cayman Islands," Jones said.

"It is a pleasure to also welcome Yara to our growing team. Yara brings with her a wealth of experience in financial services regulation in the Cayman Islands and will be a valuable asset to the team."

Mourant is a law firm-led, professional services business with over 60 years' experience in the financial services sector. Their office is located at 89 Nexus Way, in Camana Bay.
