Several Camana Bay-based businesses recently took home awards in the Best of Cayman Islands 2024.
Align wellness studio and Eclipze Hair Salon & Day Spa each won four medals, while Häagen-Dazs earned three. Agua, Blackbeard’s, Carnivore, Gelato & Co. and Must Love Dogs all won multiple awards.
“We are thrilled to have won gold for Best Liquor Store for the second year in a row, along with an additional gold for Best Wine Shop this year,” said Blackbeard’s Retail Manager Helen Wong. “These awards reflect the hard work and dedication of our staff, who strive to provide our customers with the best in-store experience and service. Our on-site wine specialists also play a crucial role in offering advice and expertise in store.”
Camana Bay proved to be the place to go for families and those with children. Next Chapter, for one, earned gold in the Kids Toys category.
“Thank you. Just two little words, but they mean so much,” said Next Chapter Assistant Manager Sydney Solomon. “Our Next Chapter store in Camana Bay is incredibly thankful to our customers, our staff and our community partners. It turns out selling books, toys, housewares and gifts really does take a village. Kids storytime, book signings, literary events and our popular toy theme parties are truly the result of the Cayman Islands community, and we are thrilled to be a part of it.”
Camana Bay Cinema, meanwhile, earned silver in the Family Attraction category.
“We are delighted to be recognised as one of the top family attractions in the Cayman Islands,” the cinema's General Manager Corey Randolph said. “This is a testament to our staff’s dedication to delivering exceptional service.”
The vote-based contest focuses on highlighting the best buisnesses, companies, groups, locations, items and services in the Cayman Islands.
