More than a dozen Camana Bay retailers and service providers have partnered to celebrate Global Wellness Day, dedicated to highlighting the value of living well.

Global Wellness Day is celebrated on Saturday, 8 June. That's when you can find pop-up activities and events around the Paseo and Crescent promoting health and wellness initiatives. Visitors can find special products and promotions specifically geared to helping people live well, both physically and spiritually.

"Global Wellness Day serves as a reminder of the vital importance of living a healthy and balanced life, emphasising the benefits of wellness in our everyday routines," Dart Senior Manager, Marketing and Brand Strategy Christy Whittaker said. "Celebrating this initiative at Camana Bay highlights our commitment to fostering a community designed to enrich lives and uplift spirits."

The special events on Global Wellness Day take place 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Health service providers will be offering special opportunities for health checks. VisionWear, for instance, will offer free vision screenings. Health City will offer pop-up health screenings where visitors can get checks on vitals like blood pressure, blood sugar and weight.
Anytime Fitness and Ryde, meanwhile, will offer a class on the Crescent and Eclipze Hair Design & Day Spa will offer a special on massages. Must Love Dogs will even have a doggie wellness booth to make sure the special pooch in your life is as healthy as can be.

"Collaborative relationships have been a significant component of our work here in the Cayman Islands," said Rebekah Brooks, Head of Marketing & Sales at Health City Cayman Islands. "We are grateful that since inception, we have been able to rely on our local partners, to build the most impactful and effective healthcare facilities and programmes for our patients."

Wellness can look like many things and take a variety of shapes, and many of the retailers throughout Camana Bay are hosting events or promotions on products that help you live life well. Restaurants are involved as well — The Edgy Vedge will feature half-price appetisers on Global Wellness Day, while Gelato & Co. is set to serve up vegan gelato and Petit Paris will have fresh juices.

Some of those offerings are even being offered for the entire month of June. Bon Vivant and The Edgy Vedge, for instance, are partnering to offer classes focused on healthy cooking and eating at home.

"Wellness Month presents an opportunity for Health City to integrate and establish lasting partnerships within the community, share information about the service offerings at our new hospital, and in a broader sense, also create buzz for the continued development of Camana Bay as the healthcare epicentre of the Cayman Islands," Brooks said. "Through the various partnerships, we hope to enhance the effectiveness of wellness initiatives, broadening their impact on community health and demonstrating our collective commitment to promoting holistic well-being through shared knowledge and coordinated efforts."

It's all in an effort to show all the ways you can take care of yourself and live well.
